The VR Platform VIROO® presented at OCCCIO Conference at George Brown College
The Ontario College Council of Chief Information Officers (OCCCIO) was established to further the strategic and operational goals and objectives of Chief Information Officers and other IT leaders of each member institution.
The mission of the OCCCIO is to enhance its members’ ability to lead information technology support strategically and effectively for Ontario Colleges. The OCCCIO hosts an annual spring conference focused on the needs of provincial college IT leaders and staff, themed “Bricks and Bites: The Future of Education”
This conference presents an excellent opportunity for companies who do business with colleges to network with Ontario College IT decision-makers and practitioners. The OCCCIO 2022 Conference is hosted by George Brown College at the Waterfront Campus, in Toronto Ontario from June 6 to June 8, 2022.
Virtual reality (VR) opens boundless possibilities to faculties, teachers, and students beyond physical classrooms and 2D screen interactions. However, VR technology also enables redesigning classrooms in hybrid terms, redefining and blurring physical and digital boundaries to fluidly integrate them into shared virtual environments to collaborate, learn, and share knowledge.
On Wednesday, June 9 at 9:00 AM EDT, we are presenting “Infrastructure fist: The enterprise journey to scale VR companywide”. Michael Rosas VP General Manager at Virtualware will talk about how using cutting-edge Virtual Reality tools like our award-winning Enterprise Solution of the Year Platform VIROO®, we and our clients are consistently creating impactful solutions for businesses to work “virtually” from anywhere in the world.
In this presentation, Michael will describe the considerations involved in setting up hybrid spaces to combine digital and physical environments effectively- explaining the benefits, challenges, and examples of universities, vocational centers, and private companies integrating VR and VIROO as their core platform to scale their experiential learning infrastructure and strategies
“We provide businesses with clear strategies on how to level up their collaborative design and training environments to stay ahead of the curve in today’s globally connected digital landscape.”
Michael Rosas, VP General Manager at Virtualware
