Virtualware introduces viroo at the european defence technology conference IT2SEC
Rotterdam, April 24, 2023. – European virtual reality company Virtualware participates at International Training Technology Exhibition & Conference (IT²EC), presenting how VR is revolutionizing the training of the medical staff of the Spanish Military Health Corps.
The three-day exhibition and conference organized by Clarion Events, in association with the National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA), gathers a broad selection of the defense industry’s brightest minds from across Europe and beyond with an increasing focus on the technology serving the military training community.
Among the different papers the Committee included in the IT²EC 2023 Conference agenda, Virtualware will participate in a session titled VR for Public Safety Threat Response Training.
David Moreno, CMO of Virtualware will be sharing how the Spanish Military Health School (EMISAN) is reshaping the modernization of training processes for medical staff in up to three highly complex environments under different protocols by using Virtualware’s VIROO VR platform deployed in a 1.1 scale room.
He will deepen into how the Spanish Military Health School is implementing VIROO® to address the challenges of training army units in medical protocols for chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear scenarios, enabling teams to assess and improve performance in various areas such as leadership, teamwork, communication skills, and decision-making proficiency in complex scenarios and extreme stress situations.
