As member of the APMA, Virtualware is participating on Day 1, in a panel titled “How the Automotive sector is benefiting from the use of eXtended Reality Technology” moderated by Colin Dhillon, CTO, APMA.
Working from home can be a challenge in the manufacturing sector, but with the adoption of eXtended Reality Technologies (AR/MR/VR) many operations are finding the flexibility they need to work around these challenges and get their jobs done.
Michael Rosas, Virtualware’s VP for North America together with John Bloemen and Chris Centeno (Magna) and Sean Graglia (Microsoft Azure) will explore key applications of XR in the automotive industry and how the technology will continue to innovate manufacturing processes in the near-term.
On Day Two of the APMA Annual ‘virtual’ Conference, Ralph Gilles and Colin Singh will talk vehicle design, eXtended Reality and new tools to support remote work with the Project Arrow winners from Carleton Engineering and Design University.
PROJECT ARROW is the first, original, full-build zero-emission concept vehicle launched by the APMA, to answer the Prime Minister’s call for a Zero-Emissions future by 2050. This project is bringing together the best of the best in Canada’s electric-drive, alternative-fuel, connected, autonomous and light-weight technology companies.
