Virtualware is partnering with MIMBUS to enter the French market.
The partnership will be officially announced at the HTC VIVE booth during Learning Technologies France 2026.
Toulouse, 28th January 2026 – Virtualware, a pioneer in 3D-driven enterprise software, headquartered in Spain, is partnering with MIMBUS to introduce and distribute the VIROO platform in France. The awarded enterprise XR platform enables organizations to deploy, manage, and scale immersive training programs (virtual reality and related technologies) within a centralized and secure framework.
Combining this solution with leading XR headsets from HTC VIVE equips organizations with a complete technology stack which empowers teams to reimagine traditional classroom-based staff training practices – increasing engagement and knowledge retention amongst learners.
The partnership will be officially presented at Learning Technologies France 2026 (28– 29 January 2026, Paris Expo – Porte de Versailles, Hall 6), at the HTC VIVE booth (Q61), with the participation of both MIMBUS and Virtualware teams.
A market context focused on scaling up
Immersive training is growing rapidly, with a key challenge: moving from pilot projects to sustainable, multi-site deployments (devices, updates, security, operations). The global immersive training market is estimated at $16.4 billion in 2024 and could reach $69.6 billion by 2030*1.
In response to this growing demand, MIMBUS and Virtualware are teaming up to make VIROO available in France. Their joint presentation will take place at the HTC VIVE area during Learning Technologies France—an event that attracts that gathers over 14,000 professionals and 350 exhibitors annually.
In 2025, Virtualware signed a landmark €5 million agreement to deploy VIROO across 66 vocational training centers of excellence in Spain—the largest contract in the company’s history.
“The VIROO solution offered by Virtualware is the perfect complement to MIMBUS’s current offering, supporting the transformation of companies and training centers through XR and AI. This commercial partnership is only the first step in a broader collaboration that we are delighted to establish with Virtualware”, comments Laurent Da Dalto, CEO, MIMBUS
“This partnership represents an important step for Virtualware as we expand VIROO into the French market. By combining our enterprise XR platform with our partner’s strong expertise, we aim to accelerate the adoption of immersive technologies across education, training and industrial use cases across France,” points out David Moreno, Chief Business Development Officer at Virtualware.
“Training has been at the heart of the enterprise XR revolution and continues to transform the way we learn – from HR soft skills right through to complex firefighter training. Our collaboration with Virtualware and MIMBUS marks the momentum of immersive learning in France, of which we’re celebrating together at Learning Technologies 2026”, comments Thomas Dexmier, VP Sales and Marketing EMEA, HTC VIVE.
