VIRTUALWARE AND ADIF WIN BRONZE IN BRANDON HALL GROUP’S EXCELLENCE IN TECHNOLOGY AWARDS
Bilbao, Spain, December 16, 2024.- The leading expert in 3D-driven enterprise software as a service Virtualware (EPA: MLVIR) and ADIF, won a coveted Brandon Hall Group Bronze award for excellence in the Best Advance in Augmented and Virtual Reality category.
This recognition celebrates both companies’ innovative work in expanding and facilitating the use of XR in training, particularly within the railway industry.
The award highlights the company’s contribution to the Railway Infrastructure Training Simulator (RITS), designed for training in railway infrastructure operation and maintenance.
Developed in collaboration with the Spanish government agency overseeing Spain’s railway infrastructure, ADIF, and powered by the enterprise XR platform, VIROO, RITS provides a comprehensive training experience covering the full lifecycle – from content creation to execution and assessment.

The RITS project, is also deployed in a VIROO Room, a 120-square-meter immersive training space located at the Valencia Technology Training Centre, which enables multi-user, collaborative training sessions on a real scale. This facility is helping to elevate the training experience for professionals in the railway sector, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and practical knowledge.
The project was also showcased at the Talent & Expertise Development Platform’s Autumn Event by the International Union of Railways, and it is planned to be presented at the 7th UIC World Congress on Rail Training.
Excellence Award winners are scheduled to be honored at Brandon Hall Group’s HCM Excellence Conference, January 28-30, 2025, at the Hilton West Palm Beach, Florida. Select winners will also serve as presenters in breakout sessions, sharing their leading practices during the conference
