Virtualware joins Immersiva XR to boost virtual reality technology in the industry
Bilbao, Spain, 11 june, 2024.- Virtualware (EPA: MLVIR), the European leader in virtual reality, joins the Spanish association Inmersiva XR to promote the application of VR technologies in the industrial sector.
The non-profit association serves as a collaborative network on both national and international levels. With over 200 partners and collaborators, including major entities such as META, Vodafone Business, ICEX, and the Government of Spain, the association is at the forefront of advancing XR technologies.
By joining Immersiva XR, Virtualware aligns itself with more than 80 companies and institutions committed to fostering the adoption and integration of XR in business environments. This collaboration will help the European and Spanish ecosystems understand how Virtualware has successfully applied virtual reality in industrial processes, education, and training for over two decades.
Virtualware’s proprietary VIROO platform has enabled companies like GE Vernova, Ontario Power Generation, Petronas, Iberdrola, Alstom, the University of El Salvador, Gestamp, ADIF, the Spanish Ministry of Defense, and the EAN University to adopt VR technology efficiently and at scale, driving significant innovation and efficiency improvements.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, Virtualware is also a member of the VRAR Association and the Academy of International Extended Reality (AIXR)
