VIROO® VR Platform presented at DES

The European virtual reality company Virtualware will present the latest version of its virtual reality platform, VIROO® at the Digital Enterprise Show, which will take place from June 14 to 16 at the FYCMA in Malaga.

For three days, technology and innovation will be the main focus, identifying new business models from different industries.

VIROO® recently acknowledged as the world’s most innovative enterprise solution combines the world’s first virtual reality room with proprietary software and is built with the business and industrial world in mind.

Companies from different sectors and of any size that are looking to innovate and begin to explore immersive technologies have the opportunity to test in person at Virtualware’s stand (A100), how accessible and simple virtual reality is through the VIROO® platform.

The VR platform, which has also been presented internationally at AWE USA, also aims to provide companies, innovation centers, and universities in the area, access to tools that allow them to innovate and improve their processes, and deploy immersive projects without limits.

The latest version includes new features consisting of connectivity improvements, advanced streaming technology, and superior UNITY® toolkits. The VIROO® VR platform is constantly evolving, incorporating five new interactive demos that showcase the platform’s graphical and collaborative capabilities, that could be tested at the event.

On Tuesday, June 14, from 17:20 David Moreno, CMO of the company participates in a session led by Carlos Ochoa (VR AR Association Madrid), sharing experiences with Heitor Bravi (Pico), Daniel Rocafort (Vysion), and Santiago Gonzalez (Augmented Reality Software), and discussing megatrends in XR industry sector 2025 using immersive experiences.

The company expects more than 50 global organizations and industry associations to use the VIROO® standard in their processes by 2023.

To date, Virtualware has around 23 VIROO® user organizations (Industrial Companies, Universities, and Vocational Training Centers) and has deployed 20 VIROO® rooms around the world, in Wilmington and San Jose in the United States, Markham in Canada, Bogota in Colombia, Aguascalientes and Mexico City in Mexico, and others in Spain, including in Madrid and the Basque Country.

Founded in 2004 by its CEO, Unai Extremo, and its CTO, Sergio Barrera, Virtualware is considered a European leader in applying immersive technologies to the industry.
